Second Hand Car Shopping
As I've written on my blog, we dont' buy new cars and drive the ones we own until "the wheels fall off". One of the best places we've found second hand cars has been my husband's own employer. You see, they lease the vehicles for a while and when the leases expire, the company gives the employees the option to purchase the used vehicles. Now some of these vehicles are not in any kind of shape to be purchased. But others are in good shape, with maybe just high mileage. We always make it a habit to have our trusted mechanic check out the vehicle before we purchase it. It gives us an extra measure of security.
