Huggable Hangers – Review

I recently was given the opportunity to try out a sample of Huggable Hangers. Now, I had never heard of them before and was wondering what exactly they were. You may be wondering too. Well here’s a picture.

These hangers are velvet covered and are thin so they take up less space in your closet. The velvet covering allows them to “hang on” to your clothing so clothes don’t fall off. They hangers are sold on the HSN and were designed by Joy Mangano. I don’t watch HSN so I guess that’s why I hadn’t heard of them. But Mr. NMOM (who loves to browse organizational stuff in stores) said he saw them at Target!

Now I love having an organized closet. With our 4 children you can imagine we have a lot of organizationally related issues in our house. I’ve found that if I have my closet (and the childrens’) organized, it allows me to quickly get them ready to go out. There is nothing worse than knowing you need to be somewhere on time and one of the little darlings cannot find their jacket, shoes, skirt, purse, (etc.).

Anyway, I tried the hangers out and they were really nice. My clothing did stay on them and did not fall off. I liked the way they made my closet look “pretty” and they did take up less space than my others hangers did.

These hangers are a bit more expensive than the regular plastic kind. However, they are sold at Target (you’ll find them down the hanger aisle). In fact, just this past week Target had some of the Huggable Hangers on sale! The hangers also come in sizes suitable for children’s clothing.
