This is a great easy recipe for the crockpot. Basically you just throw all the ingredients into the slow cooker, turn it on low, and dinner is ready at the end of the day.
Ingredients:
3 lb. chicken legs
1 pkg. frozen pearl onions
1 pkg. frozen peas and mushrooms
1 pkg. frozen carrots
1 pkg. frozen green beans
1 (15 oz) can cream style corn
1 (11 oz) can cream of chicken soup
1 tsp. garlic powder
Salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
Place the chicken legs in the crock pot. Add all the vegetables. Pour in the cream style corn and soup. Add the garlic powder.
Cover and cook 7 hours on low. Add the salt and pepper just before serving.
Note: Instead of using the cream of chicken soup you can add honey mustard sauce to this recipe. This gives it a slightly different taste that appeals to children especially. Any type of frozen vegetable works well with this meal so use whatever you may have in your freezer.
I always serve this with a fruit salad and french bread.

There is nothing better than the “throw it all in” recipe.
Sounds like chicken pot pie without the pie.
Yum.
And home cooking is so much better than eating out. Especially, when someone else makes it.
Thank you for the link luv. Sounds like a great crockpot dish! I will need to try it on the family.
