		<description>I had always been told that the mergency fund needs to have six months worth of expenses in it in case of an unexpected job loss.

I personally think six months is a little too much,  I currently look for around three months worth.

I think that I could impact my expenses by lowering them or eliminating them along with my emergency fund to stem the tide of any extended period of unemployment.</description>
