Weekend Roundup – Target Toy Clearance Edition

in Deals And Finds, Saving Money

I had a lot of fun this past week shopping at Target’s toy clearance. Some items were 75% off while others were still at 50% off. There were many great deals to be had including the Step2 kitchen set, the Fisher Price kid tough DVD players and lots of Barbies. You might check your own store out to see what they have left.

Here are some articles I enjoyed reading this past week from the Frugal Blog Network and beyond.

Almost Frugal talks about saving money even when you have no money to save.

Frugal Babe had to buy a new dishwasher this past week.

Frugal Zeitgeist shares one bright spot in the recession.

The Frugal Duchess outlines some extra uses for paper towel tubes.

Tight Fisted Miser’s former employer closed out his 401(k).

We also participated in the 159th edition of the Festival of Frugality hosted at The Dough Roller and the Money Hacks Carnival #47 at Money Beagle.
