Since I do quite a bit of home cooking, I’ve decided to add a regular weekly feature to this blog starting today with a “Cook At Home Day”. Each week on Thursday I will be featuring a new recipe that I have personally cooked during the prior week. I’ll give you the ingredients and show you a picture of my finished dish. Now I am not trying to make this a cooking blog. Rather, saving money is the main topic of our blog, and you can save a lot of money on your grocery bill by cooking at home. I am not a fancy chef by any means so my recipes won’t be something you’d find at a gourmet restaurant. They will, however, be recipes that anyone can make and hopefully will help you to enjoy cooking at home and assist you in stretching your food budget. If I can find the time to cook, you can too!
In addition, I’ll be inviting other bloggers to share links to their own recipes, so if you are a blogger and blog about frugal recipes, cooking at home, inexpensive meals, etc., you’ll have the opportunity to add a link to your most recent recipe or food creation at the end of my weekly post through Mr. Linky. Happy cooking!
Remember, Thursday is “Cook At Home’ Day.
