Well my old sewing machine finally quit working so I was able to treat myself to a new one. I purchased a Brother 50 Stitch Computerized Sewing Machine model. I am eager to start work on some Christmas projects I have lined up and with this new machine, sewing them should be a snap! On to the weekly roundup…..

Did you do any comparative shopping for your new sewing machine? My friend was in the same boat a couple months ago, and ended up finding a really good deal through the SlickDeals forums.
I did compare prices at Target, Walmart, and Jo-Ann’s. Bummer that I didn’t think to use SlickDeals.
