This saves you from being in debt but with the ease of use that a credit card offers. On the other hand, it is somewhat more expensive to maintain a prepaid credit card. While not all of them charge fees other than for activation, some do charge monthly service fees, withdrawal fees, balance inquiry fees, load fees, and replacement fees.
