Creating A Bath And Body Gift Set With The Help Of Target’s Dollar Spot

Lately in browsing the Target Dollar spot I’ve seen quite a few nice items in the bath and body category. I thought it would be fun to put together an inexpensive gift set, and I went shopping to see what combinations I could come up with.

First, I chose a silver container, just the perfect size to hold some beauty items. Next, I added a mesh scrubber pack, which contained 2 scrubbers, one in pink and one in green. Then I included a bottle of cherry blossom hand soap along with a matching scented cherry blossom lotion. These are wonderfully fragrant! I found a 2 pack of fragrant soaps wrapped in a pink and green floral print and tied together with a pretty pink bow. All of the above bath and body gift basketmentioned items fit comfortably in the silver container.

Several other items I found included a body wash and a body lotion in a wonderful floral fragrance and a hot pink gift bag. You can see in the photo that I placed all the items together and they make for a great gift set. The total cost? – $8! I’ll be putting this into my gift closet for gift giving later in the year.

You realize that most bath and body things by reputable companies (like Calgon) are only 5.99 at Wal-mart, right? its a better deal, imo, compared to the off-name brands that make very low-end, low quality products for Dollar stores.

Nancy,

I agree that sometimes products from dollar stores can be low quality. However, the ones I found at the Target Dollar Spot are actually very nice. I found the hand soaps and lotions to be very similar to Calgon products.

On another note, I have found Calgon products at my local Dollar Tree. They are not there all the time, and they usually get sold out quickly.
