I found quite a few good posts this week on saving money. Here are some of my favorites from personal finance blogs:
Five Cent Nickel discusses how to avoid ATM fees. We use this strategy regularly. At my weekly grocery run, I get cash back when using my debit card. No ATM fees for us.
Home Ec101 details how to roast a chicken. This is a great money saving tip because cooking the chicken yourself saves a lot of money over buying one already cooked from the deli. After I roast a chicken at home, I save the bones for making homemade chicken stock the next day.
Free Money Finance discusses buying a car using the web. We purchase our vehicles from my husband’s company after the leases have expired. However, this article is very informative if you are in the market for a vehicle.
Pro Bargain Hunter shows how to browse coupons from local grocery stores online. I like the idea of being able to access the stores online and plan ahead of time.
