I was reading the 65th Festival of Frugality this morning and several posts caught my eye:

Save On Groceries By Shopping On The Right Day – Stephanie gives some great ideas on how timing your grocery shopping can save you money. We’ve found a local bakery who discounts their whole wheat bread every Thursday.

How I Save Money In An Organic Food Co-Op – Sharon discussed the organic food club she is participating in. I have several friends who are involved in similar food co-ops and have heard nothing but good reviews about them all.

10 Ways To Ask For A Lower Price Or A Better Deal – Ben gives some practical tips you can use to get fees reduced or waived.

Thanks for the mention & I’m glad to hear that your friends also had a good experience with food co-ops.
