Not Made Of Money

Since today is “Superbowl Sunday”, I figured some people would be hosting some game parties.  Here are some money saving tips for entertaining and saving money:

1.  Don’t rely on pre-packaged foods as they tend to be more expensive.  Put together your own veggie and snack trays. 

2.  Check out the grocery ads this morning before heading to the store.  Some stores are having Buy 1 Get one free sales on chips today.

3.  Make a trip to the dollar store for plasticware, paper plates, and table covers.  For cheap decorating items, just put up a couple of streamers and a few balloons.  I saw a really nifty centerpiece made by placing a cleaned football in a large bowl and surrounding it with fresh cut flowers.
