I couldn't agree more! Anyone know any law firms willing to take this on as a class action? Regarding Microsoft Money, I hear (not confirmed) that they have a similar "service discontinuation" policy - every *2* years!

How about switching to Microsoft Money? Is it a seamless conversion? Do they periodically discontinue support?

Anyone have any info?

I strongly agree!!! This action has violated the agreement of the software we purchased. Besides, they did this without even offering a reasonable explanation. Quicken is truly disappointing!

Is this action by Quicken basis for a class action lawsuit? How can they discontinue a feature of a software package that I paid for? I don't understand how all of sudden they can just turn off the download feature. It is one thing to stop technical support. That I understand, but removing a feature inherent to the program to force users to upgrade is ridiculous!
