Target Christmas Clearance

December 12th, 2006 · No Comments

No, Target has not started their Christmas clearance yet.  The day after Christmas they typically mark the Christmas merchandise to 50% off.  This includes the holiday lawn decor, wrap, Christmas decorations, Christmas trees, linens, tableclothes, christmas dishes, etc.  Then any items left will eventually go to 75% and then to 90% off.  In years past I stock up on my gift wrap, bows, and tags during the 90% off time.  It really just depends on the individual store as to what items they will have left.  One year my local Target had tons of items when the 75% off sale started.  Another year nearly everything was cleaned out at 50% off.  So it is wise to just make a mental note of how the inventory looks at your target.

Some items that are also clearanced after Christmas (although the dates can vary considerably) are toys, bikes, game tables, holiday dresses, and holiday gift sets.  We were able to purchase some of our bikes at 75% off as well as get the kids their holiday outfits for the coming year at 75% off.
