This past week we participated in the carnival of personal finance #75 with Forget Better Online Shopping – Give Me A Shopping Plugin and the festival of frugality #49 with 50 Homemade Gift Ideas From Around The Web. 

I also compiled a couple of lists from the Black Friday ads including kitchen appliance deals and board games. 

We’re off today to celebrate Thanksgiving, and I am sitting pretty happy because of my secret to managing my Thanksgiving cooking.
