Christmas Ornaments To Make – Easy and Inexpensive

November 29th, 2006 · 3 Comments

We make many of our own ornaments and each year we add to the collection.  Here are some ideas from around the web for a variety of hand made Christmas tree ornaments.

How To String Popcorn On A Christmas Tree:  Pretty simple technique.  Of course, the problem is keeping the kids (or pets) from nibbling on the garland!

Gingerbread Christmas Ornaments:  These look and smell great.  You could decorate your entire tree with nothing but gingerbread ornaments in an assortment of shapes.

Clay Dough Christmas Ornaments:  Simple recipe to make the clay.  Shape these into stockings, candy canes, and Christmas trees and let dry.  Paint with acrylics.

Paper and Ornament PrintOuts:  Cut and color these to your liking.  Laminate them too.  Easy craft for the kids.

Clothespin Santa Ornaments:  Simply adorable using clothespins and felt.

Christmas Origami:  Elegant spheres to use as ornaments.

Pipe Cleaner and Bead Ornaments:  These are so cute.  Make a candy cane or wreath ornament.

Felt Christmas Tree Ornament:  Easy felt ornament.

Some of my favorite holiday memories are of stringing popcorn (and watching my brother eat almost as much as I had strung!).
