We’ve had an artificial Christmas tree for the last 7 years. We purchased our tree from Michaels Crafts when they had the trees for 50% off. Our tree still looks great and has lots of years left in it. We used to always purchase a live Christmas tree, but our allergies started acting up so badly with the tree in the house that we decided we needed to move to an artificial tree.
Anyway, if you are in the market for an artificial tree, here are the ones I found advertised on sale this week. Prices are said to be good from November 26, 2006 through December 2, 2006.Â
7.5′ Douglas Fir Tree (pre lit) – $199.99 on sale at KMart
7.5′ Spruce Tree (pre lit) $199.99 on sale at KMart
6.5′ Frasier Fir Tree (pre lit) $149.99 on sale at KMart
Martha Stewart 4.5′ pre lit Chestnut Mountain Tree $44.99 on sale at KMart
Martha Stewart 6.5′ pre lit Blue Ridge Mountain tree $79.99 on sale at KMart
Martha Stewart 7′ pre lit Aspen Mountain $79.99 on sale at KMart
7.5′ Pre Lit Full Cut Tree – $79.99 At Big Lots
Life Like Touch 7.5′ Pre Lit Slim Cut Tree $79.99 At Big Lots
7′ Pre Lit Slim Scottsdale Pine $99.99 Michaels Arts and Crafts
7.5′ Canterbury Pine $149.99 Michaels Arts and Crafts
If you are in the market for an artificial tree but just can’t afford one now, you can usually get a good deal on them after the holidays. Then you will have a brand new tree for next year!  We purchased ours during a Summer sale that Michaels Crafts was having.Â
