If you will be getting a new iPod for Christmas, you may be wondering what to do with the old one. Well, I’ve found a solution! SellYourCell.com just announced it has added more Apple iPod models to the list that it will buy from consumers.Â
“We are serious about expanding our wireless recycling efforts beyond cell phones, and to effectively do that we felt we needed increase our incentives to consumers,” Keith Ori, CEO of SellyourCell.com said.
SellYourCell.com originally was started to buy back the wireless phones that consumers would have after changing cell phone plans. They’ve made the process pretty simple too,
“To get a quote for selling a used iPod or cell phone, consumers can visit www.sellyourcell.com and look up their device’s manufacturer on the left hand side of the page. Once the manufacturer (Apple, Motorola, etc.) is selected, then users simply select the model (i.e. Nano, 40 GB Photo, etc) and click ‘next’ for the offer price. If a user accepts SellyourCell’s offer-to-buy price the only step left is to enter their personal information and wait for the padded mailer to arrive with free return postage.”
Sounds like a worthwhile thing to check out, especially if you want to put the money you get towards that new iPod you are looking to purchase.Â
