I’ve given my share of baby gifts to new parents.  Some of the most memorable gifts are the ones that I have personalized in some way. I’ve made a scrapbook personalized with the baby’s name. I’ve also given picture frames, which I’ve either purchased and added the engraving or I decorated the frames myself using supplies from the craft store. I like the t-shirts and afghans too, although usually the kids outgrow the clothing pretty quickly so I like to personalize other products. I have not tried painting names on furniture yet, like a step stool, but that might be by next endeavor. Anway, from what I have read some of the best personalized baby gift ideas are wall hangings, picture frames, baby blankets, keepsake ornaments, and keepsake plates.

1 Not Made Of Money : Personalized Baby Blanket // Oct 29, 2006 at 4:22 pm
[...] I wrote the other day about finding a personalized baby gift. One gift I forgot to mention is a personalized baby blanket. You can find these in pink or blue and have them personalized with baby’s name and birthdate. If you are handy with crafts, you could make one yourself. If not, I’ve seen them in stores like Things Remembered or even a local crafts store. Bookmark to: [...]
